We welcomed our newest Grand-daughter, Sarah Paige Allen into the family on Wednesday, April 27th at 10:30 a.m. She weighed 9 pounds & 4 ounces. She arrived 1 hour before I had to leave to go to the airport for a trip to Pennsylvania. She was delivered by Cesarean section. Although very sore, Leslie did great. She had a problem with her blood sugar, and was in the hospital for nearly 3 weeks after birth. Paiges' pancreas started to work before she was born, (and before it was supposed to) due to Leslie not being put on insulin during her pregnancy for her diabetes. She got to come home from the hospital and at one month, is doing great. Her low blood sugars seem to be okay. She is so precious little girl and so sweet. Here is some pictures just after her birth.
